What great woodstove cooking posts, Margy!

I'll have to try some dutch-oven pie-baking this winter. (I do hate to turn on the electric stove when the woodstove's already going.)

I kinow this is an older post, but just bumped into it with a search. I also like cooking on top of my woodstove. We have a remote floating cabin in Coastal BC that is off the grid. Since our woodstove is going pretty much 24/7 in the winter I hate to waste all that heat and cooking potential. I love your website. Maybe you would like to take a look at mine. Check out "Cooking" and "Float Cabin Living." I think you might find them of interest. http://powellriverbooks.blogspot.com -- Margy

Although I enjoy your reporting immensely, there is one point of contest: what is this "natural laziness" you write about? I am curious since I think of you as a queen of industry. I enter as evidence exhibit A: this blog. Exhibits "Rebecca's B-Z" are forthcoming.
