I do enjoy that view of the hayfield. Yesterday we had a big tom turkey just wander along the fence. I'm worried the picture is a little too big, though -- that it takes up too much room on the screen. I might try to take another one that could be narrower. Thanks, Jan!

I think it is perfect. I like the width and the way yor tools standout against the view of the field, framed by the window. We have had lots of turkeys too this year. Their was a beautiful hen with three little chicks parading around our yard one morning. Very cute. I hope summer is going well for you. It was 38 yesterday morning! Summer is going fast and my tomatoes are only starting to ripen! Take care, Jan For what it is worth, I would leave the photo as is. I think it is perfect. It's nice for me to have the blog look just like my actual kitchen. (And Jan, 38 degrees? That seems cold for August, even in Vermont. Are you up on a mountain?) Thanks, Kiva and Jan! Strafford-Sharon border, about 1,500 feet, which is not really very high, but compared to Sharon Village @ 500 feet, that thousand foot climb makes a big difference in the weather. This morning the valleys were socked in with river valley fog, but the sun at our place was brilliant. We are at one of the higer elevations in Sharon, close to the ridge that runs near the S.
